Bio
Marie-France Roy has many nicknames from MFR, MOFO, and Marie. MFR started shredding in 1991, and 2005 was her biggest year to date without a doubt with a first place at Nikita Chikita Snowdown and ASJ slopestyle, including best trick. These accolades scored her an invite to Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark and the inaugural Ms. Superpark, as well as a nomination for Transworld Snowboarding’s Female Rookie of the Year.
Marie-Frances signature tricks are right up there with any of the top male riders with successful 900s in slopestyle and 270s onto rails and boxes. MFR’s part in MissChief Film’s latest installment and really showcases her strong eye for attacking open terrain. The future is huge for this young shredder, and 2007 looks to be a banner year for MFR.
